¹NGS - next generation sequencing. We recommend to use NGS for microRNA screening in cells and tissues and qPCR for targeted
microRNA analysis. However, for low RNA-input samples such as biofluids, microvesicles or circulating tumor cells (CTCs) we
recommend to use qPCR also for screening. If you are not sure what platform is the right one, we will make a suggestion based
on the other information we have, and discuss with you over the phone.

Comment: for screening, we recommend our 384-well discovery panel. For targeted analysis, we recommend multiples of 24 microRNAs (i.e. 24/48/96/192) microRNAs as the most cost-efficient option.
